Course Overview
This half-day training introduces the concept of neurodiversity and explores how differences in thinking, communication, and emotional processing shape learning and working environments in education. Designed to reduce stigma and build confidence, the session offers practical insights into recognising and supporting neurodivergent students and staff. The course is available through classroom-based or online delivery.
Participants will gain a foundational understanding of key neurodivergent conditions, reflect on inclusive practices, and learn how to create educational settings where individuality is embraced and strengths are recognised.
Target Group
This training is ideal for teachers, support staff, pastoral leads, and education leaders who want to better understand neurodiversity and how to support neurodivergent learners and colleagues. No prior knowledge required.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the training, the participant will be able to:
